Aleshia Grant
MSW, LICSW-S, LCSW
Aleshia D. Grant is a licensed clinical social worker and higher education professional with extensive experience in clinical mental health services, federally funded program administration, and research and grants management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Arts in Social Work and is licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (Alabama & Mississippi) and as a Independent Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (Alabama).
Ms. Grant’s professional background includes leadership and administrative roles supporting externally funded research and development initiatives. Her work spans the full life cycle of grants and contracts, including proposal and budget review, compliance oversight, agreement negotiation, subrecipient monitoring, and closeout activities. She brings strong expertise in federal regulations, Uniform Guidance, and institutional policy compliance, and regularly provides training, technical assistance, and problem resolution support to multidisciplinary teams.
In addition to her administrative expertise, Ms. Grant maintains telehealth therapy services as a provider, providing psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families across multiple states. Her clinical work includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing therapeutic intervention. She is committed to ethical, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care, and actively engages in continuing education to remain current with best practices in mental health treatment.
Ms. Grant also has extensive experience in the leadership and management of federally funded educational access programs, where she has served in both supervisory and executive roles. Her responsibilities include staff supervision, fiscal oversight, compliance reporting, program development, student recruitment and retention, community engagement, and program evaluation.
Her work has consistently focused on expanding educational opportunities and support services for first-generation, low-income, and under-represented populations.

Kerry Grant
CPA
Kerry G. Grant, CPA, is an accomplished accounting and financial reporting leader with more than 20 years of experience spanning higher education, consulting, and corporate environments. She currently serves as Associate Comptroller at Alabama A&M University, where she provides strategic oversight of accounting operations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance to support accurate and efficient financial management.
Throughout her career, Kerry has built a reputation for strengthening internal controls, improving processes, and providing data-driven insights that support sound decision-making. Her experience includes financial reporting, audit support, year-end closeout activities, team leadership, and operational improvement across complex organizations.
Prior to her current role, Kerry served as Director of Financial Reporting at Alabama A&M University and held leadership positions in consulting and corporate environments. Her diverse background has equipped her with extensive expertise in financial operations, compliance, reconciliations, and strategic reporting.
Kerry holds an MBA from Alabama A&M University, a Master of Science in Sport Administration from Grambling State University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She is passionate about helping organizations strengthen financial operations, maintain compliance, and build a foundation for long-term success.
